JUNE 14, 1992
On this day, we had 33 in attendance and met at the home of Chris and Angela Mitchell. It was our very first Sunday morning church service. We didn't have a name for the church at this point but we were excited to see what the Lord was gonna do!
JUNE 21, 1992
Our second Sunday service was held at the home of Ernie Stewart. During this meeting, a church name was chosen... Solid Rock Bible Believing Baptist Church.
1992
Later in 1992, we broke ground on the land that would soon be the location of God's house.
1993
Early in 1993, we began meeting in the chapel at Gracewood Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain, NC. This gave us plenty of seating and room.
1994
After purchasing the land in 1993, building our new church began and was completed in 1994. We are thankful for the hard work of everyone including a visiting missionary! Thank God for providing.
Fall 1994
In the fall of 1994, we held our first services in God's house... the brand new site of Solid Rock Bible Believing Baptist Church.
Sunday Services
Come join us in our Sunday morning and evening worship services. In the morning, we have Sunday School classes for all ages followed by the worship service. Come back in the evening for more blessings in singing and preaching.
